MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A brother and sister were sitting in a car enjoying their dinner from McDonalds when suddenly, someone opened fire and shot up their car.
Now, police need your help finding a potential suspect.
Take a look at the photo. This is the man the two siblings say they saw walking past them on 36th and Thurston around 7:30 in the evening July 23.
They say right after they saw the man, someone started shooting at their car on the passenger side.
The sister was hit in the arm and ankle. Both of them survived, but the visit they were planning with family members was cut short.
Detectives say they want to find out who the man is, and you can help.
"We have nobody that's seen anything regarding this incident," said MPD Detective Adrian Harris. "We have people that live at both of those houses, and they said they heard it and got down on the ground, didn't see anybody in their yard or see the person doing the shooting. We canvassed the area and that block and no leads."
If you know anything about this case, call Milwaukee Crime Stoppers at 414-224-TIPS.
You can also use the P3 Tips app. If your tip leads to an arrest, you get cash.
