Damian Lillard and Andre Jackson Jr. come up short in All-Star Game Skills Contests
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (CBS 58) -- For Damian Lillard and Andre Jackson Jr.? It was fun, but not what they hoped as they repped the Bucks on All-Star Game weekend. Lillard tried to become the first 3-peat 3-point champ since former Bucks and Bulls guard Craig Hodges in 1993.
No happy homecoming for Lillard, since he's from nearby Oakland with the All-Star Game weekend in San Francisco. With Whitnall's Tyler Herro on the bubble, Lillard needed to make 4 of 5 3's. He missed two in a row. And Herro not only survives, the local product and Miami Heat standout wins the 3-point shootout.
And with Giannis in the house for Sunday's All-Star Game? He was trying to hype up his guy, Andre Jackson Jr., in the dunk contest. But the nerves got the best of the youngster, and he was knocked out after missing his first four dunks.
