RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Fourth of July is right around the corner and typically celebrated with fireworks and parades. In Racine, they celebrate with dancing horses.
For more than 15 years, Lauro Davalos and his four dancing Arabian horses have been part of the parade. Lauro is a Mexican immigrant who arrived here when he was 17-years-old.
Today, he owns the Mexican restaurant La Tapatia. His daughter says the horses have become a fan favorite.
"Every time a customer comes in, they'll be like are you guys going to be in the Fourth of July? We want to see your horses dancing. It's almost always the biggest thing that everyone is asking," said daughter Carina Rios.
Lauro says you can expect the horses again in this year's parade.
