WAUSAU, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Democratic vice-presidential candidate Tim Walz was in Wisconsin on Friday, Sept. 13.
Walz stopped in Wausau and spoke at the Whitewater Music Club.
The Minnesota governor talked about the Ukranian bakery in the city and criticized Former President Donald Trump's answers about the conflict during Tuesday night's debate.
"Those questions should have been very easy and let me say that standing of Ukrainian bakery in Wausau Wisconsin in front of Ukrainians whose country is at war defending democracy, the answer is simple, Ukraine must win the war," said Walz.
Walz also criticized Trump's answer about the outcome of the 2020 election, and he says he wants to have elections that are free, fair, and held with respect for the candidates.
