OAK CREEK, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Giving Tuesday is a day to support charities. You can give back in the form of toys all week long. For the 17th year, 1250 AM The Fan is hosting its annual Toy Drive.

You may know Steve Fifer as Sparky, the host on The Fan, but this week he's in front of Blain's Farm and Fleet from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

You can stop inside Farm and Fleet's Toyland to buy a toy, or bring one that you've already bought. All of them are given to Children's Wisconsin for the holiday season.

"They use these toys not only through the holidays, but they can also use them through the year if they get enough toys," said Sparky. "So, it could be if your kid is having a bad day, they give them a toy."

The toy drive has grown over the past 17 years.

"We did pretty good that first year -- it was like a small moving truck," said Sparky. "And then, fast forward over the years now, Blain's Farm and Fleet gives us a semi."

The goal is to fill the semi parked in front of the store. They're accepting new gifts for all ages.

Sparky knows first-hand as a parent that sometimes ER visits are inevitable, and he's had friends on the other side.

"He called me almost crying and said, 'don't ever stop that toy drive,'" said Sparky recalling a phone call from a friend.

Many groups like local fire stations and teachers have made traditions out of donating.

"The fire stations are huge for us, Oak Creek Fire, Franklin Fire ... North Shore fire drives down here every year drops off a toy and cash donation, which is awesome."

You have until Friday if you want to drop a toy off at the Blain's Farm and Fleet on Rawson in Oak Creek. This year, KISS FM is teaming up with The Fan to collect donations.
