MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Lakefront Marathon is set to take place on Sunday, Oct. 6. The Milwaukee Department of Public Works is working to make sure the public knows about the parking regulations.
Signage is now posted along the marathon route. The parking restrictions are in place from midnight on Sunday until 2 p.m.
"Last year we cited 117 vehicles, and we towed away 92 of those, we're trying to get those numbers down," said Eldricht Hill, parking enforcement manager with the city of Milwaukee.
Tickets given out along the marathon route will set you back $150.
