MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- What’s the secret to turning 100? A Milwaukee woman says good health and being kind.
Born in 1924, Dolores Schwabe celebrated her centennial birthday at the Wilson Commons assisted living facility. Schwabe says she’s lived her life to the fullest and wants others to do the same
“I can’t believe it. I never thought I’d live this long. Never. Never. Very surprised," said Schwabe.
Residents and employees shared some fun facts about the year Schwabe was born — Calvin Coolidge was president; the cost of a home was $8,000, and a gallon of gas was 25 cents.
