One last round of precipitation before a nice drying trend heading...
It's been a wet last two weeks in southeast Wisconsin as multiple rounds of rain, some of which have been heavy, pushed through. Since the last two days of April, Milwaukee has only seen two completely dry days and we've picked up just under 3" of total rain which is the equivalent of what we see during a normal month this time of year. The month of May alone is running about 1" above-average with just under 2" of rain since May 1.
Temperatures will stay a little below-average for Mother's Day weekend with a lake breeze both days. Highs will get close to 60° lakeside on Saturday and then cool into the middle 50s Sunday. Inland spots will be a touch warmer.
There is a chance for a few rain showers on Sunday. If showers do develop the best time would be in the afternoon and evening so morning and brunch plans should be good to go.
