The week-long show will see aviation enthusiasts from 80 countries converging to celebrate the world of flight.

EAA AirVenture 2023 is set to feature a variety of aircraft, from warbirds and vintage planes to homebuilts and ultralights. Notable highlights include a foot-controlled plane simulator by Jessica Cox, the historic World War II Piper L-4 Cub “Rosie the Rocketeer” and the Fairchild C-123 “Thunderpig” from the Vietnam War.

In addition, the KidVenture area will showcase flight simulators and historical exhibits for young aviation enthusiasts.

The Vintage Aircraft Association showcases restored antique aircraft, and NASA presents its Artemis lunar exploration program and the “Super Guppy” cargo carrier. The Warbirds in Review presentation series covers 80 years of military aviation history.

Daily air shows take place from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Sunday. Additionally, night air shows are scheduled for 8 p.m. on Wednesday and Saturday.

For those interested in experiencing flight, opportunities to fly in an authentic 1930s Ford Trimotor or a Huey helicopter from the Korean War are available throughout the week.
