MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A person was injured after an incident with a city bus on Monday, April 6. 

Police say before 6:30 p.m. a Milwaukee County Transit System bus struck a pedestrian who was running next to the bus near W. Wisconsin Ave. and N. Vel R Phillips Ave. 

A 76-year-old was transported to a hospital for treatment of injuries. 

MCTS states that an individual slipped on the curb and made contact with the bus. 

The circumstances are under investigation by the Milwaukee Police Department and is under review by MCTS.
