'Elevate & Piece of Love Coffee and Cake' shows off its seasonal caffeine drinks with a Mexican twist
WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It's been one year since Elevate & Piece of Love Coffee and Cake reopened its doors. The reopening was a minor setback for Anna Gonzalez after a car drove through the front window of her small, local business in a hit-and-run. In the long run, it turned out to be sweeter than Gonzalez could've imagined.
Elevate & Piece of Love Coffee and Cake came back stronger, with more menu items and a remodel that created the space of Gonzalez's dreams.
Inside, it's a whimsical, chic, floral space. Gonzalez worked with a designer from Peru and visited France for inspiration before designing the space. She is also offering a bigger menu than ever before.
They say the community rallying around the business is what has helped it succeed over the last year.
