Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Gravy
SKOGIE, Ill. (CBS 58) -- A new Titanic exhibition has opened in Skokie, Ill., offering an immersive journey into the historic ship’s story.
Titanic explorer Mark Lach joined us Thursday, Oct. 3 to offer details.
Titanic: The Exhibition features interactive displays narrating the design, voyage and sinking of the Titanic. As the largest touring Titanic exhibition, it highlights the fates of passengers and crew aboard the ship.
Tickets start at $29.50, and the exhibition runs through Jan. 5.
Visitors receive boarding passes corresponding to real passengers, explore recreations of the ship’s interior and view relics from the Titanic and its sister ships. Lach, who participated in dives to the wreckage, talked about firsthand experiences, including exploring the captain’s quarters and observing differences between the ship’s halves on the sea floor.
Tickets and more information are available by clicking here.
