MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--For the last day of fall, expect mild temperatures with highs near 40. Look for a wintry mix possible, especially the first part of the day with the passage of a front. We turn colder on Sunday, the first day of winter, with highs in the low to mid 20s. Winter officially starts at 9:03 AM on Sunday. The wind will make it feel much colder for this first winter day. Then expect 30s and 40s to start the new week. Look for 50s by Christmas Day on Thursday followed by some cooler weather. We have a few chances of light precip this week, including a mix on Monday and some rain later Christmas Eve into early Christmas Day. I don't see a big storm system this coming week though.
