'Family Hop' returns to Milwaukee's streetcar this spring break

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- For the first time since 2019, "Family Hop" is returning to Milwaukee's streetcar.

It's a free way for families to explore Milwaukee from March 27-April 8.

This year's event will include activities like "Stories on the Hop," where kids can listen to storytelling right on board the streetcar, engage in streetcar-themed crafts and receive their own copy of the book "Last Stop on Market Street." To register for Stories on the Hop, click here

The streetcar is also bringing back Hop Bingo, an on-board game containing common sights to spot along the route. Once a child spots enough sights for bingo and receives a sticker from their streetcar operator, they can bring their completed card to Classy Girl Cupcakes on N. Jefferson Street to receive a free cupcake (valid Monday-Saturday for children 12 and under).

Bingo cards can be downloaded here or picked up at Milwaukee Public Library branches.
