Summer Gallery Night MKE returns this weekend with 50+ art venues
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Agriculture and music come together in Milwaukee as the second annual Farm Music Festival kicked off Friday, Oct. 1.
The Collaborative Farm has been partially redesigned to be an educational facility, food production facility and now, a music venue.
It features hip-hop and electronic artists from around the country.
Music fans can explore the urban farm while the music is played on two stages.
Organizers say the event attracts many different types of people.
"The hip-hop and electronic artists all have their own followings, so there is going to be a younger crowd following all them, but there's a crowd that's been following this place and that's been involved with the urban farm that will be here to support it, so it's going to be a diverse crowd," said Tyler Schmitt, event organizer.
Friday featured a graffiti competition on shipping containers.
And if you missed it, don't worry! The Farm Music Festival runs until Sunday, Oct. 3.
