First of three rounds of rain for the holiday weekend arrives Friday evening

NOW: First of three rounds of rain for the holiday weekend arrives Friday evening
NEXT:

We started off the week wet with most hometowns getting at least an inch of rain Monday and Tuesday. Since then we've dried things out the last few days but that changes again as we head into the holiday weekend.

Showers will be possible starting around dinnertime Friday evening with better chances as we get towards midnight. Rain does look likely overnight Friday into Saturday morning. This first round of rain isn't super impressive with rain totals but around a quarter inch will be possible in most hometowns with isolated spots seeing up to a half inch if we get a thunderstorm.

Most of the rain wraps up Saturday morning around sunrise but a few showers could linger through noon. Then we get a break from Saturday afternoon through midday Sunday but a few showers are now possible for our second round of rain Easter Sunday in the afternoon and evening.

When it comes to temps we don't move too much with highs staying in the middle to upper 40s for the holiday weekend. The best time for an Easter egg hunt looks like Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning but Sunday afternoon could trend dry so don't completely rule it out.

The third round of rain comes Monday evening through Tuesday. The Brewers Home Opener is on Tuesday and it already looks pretty wet with a decent chance for a mix/switch to snow Tuesday afternoon.
