MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) - The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office says a semi that flipped on its side was the cause for some traffic backups along I-43 Southbound early Sat. Feb. 15. 

Officials say they responded to the accident near the Silver Spring Road exit at around 6:37 a.m. 

MCSO and the Northshore Fire Department responded to the incident, along with 'All City Towing' for the heavy semi tow.

Due to the location of the crash, Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office officials closed the Southbound on-ramp from Silver Sprong Rd. 

Heavy traffic has since cleared and is moving normally again.
