Flood warnings continue with rising waters

A Flood Warning runs until 645 am this morning for a chunk of southeastern Wisconsin. Separate Flood Warnings are in play for some area rivers and creeks that will run for the next few days.

The rivers that have hit flood stage are:

*Root River near Franklin and also near Raymond

*Fox River near Burlington and New Munster

Rivers or creeks that are near flood stage are:

*Milwaukee River near Cedarburg

*Cedar Creek near Cedarburg

*Fox River near Waukesha

*Mukwonago River near Mukwonago

*Bark River near Rome

There will be drying taking place today with decreasing clouds. Rain is not in the forecast. However, precipitation returns Thursday night and early Friday. This could cause more problems.
