Fond Du Lac Fire Department rescues cat with oxygen mask

FOND DU LAC, Wis. - (WFRV) The Fond du Lac Fire and Rescue Department helped rescue a cat from a house fire on Monday.
The fire came from a kitchen of a house on E. 10th Street. Paramedics helped the cat breathe with an oxygen mask specially made for animals. On the department's Facebook page, fire chief said that the cat is now doing well.
The fire was able to be contained within the kitchen. The family and owner of the cat is currently being assisted with temporary housing from the Wisconsin Red Cross.
