Free dance performance to transform Pulaski Park into outdoor stage
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Wild Space Dance Company's InSite program returns for its fifth season with "En Route," a free, site-specific dance performance at Pulaski Park running Friday, Oct. 9, through Saturday, Oct. 10, with a rain date Sunday, Oct. 11.
The performance is inspired by the park's recently restored section of the Kinnickinnic River, where more than 1,700 feet of aging concrete channel was removed and returned to a natural stream. Preshow talks with water experts from Milwaukee Riverkeeper and MMSD precede each performance.
Wild Space Dance Company, celebrating its 40th anniversary season, is a Milwaukee-based dance company. Artistic Director Dan Schuchart and Ishmael Konney, an assistant professor of dance at UW-Milwaukee, joined us Friday, Oct. 2 to preview "En Route."
Admission is free, but RSVPs are required by clicking here.
