Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Dwight
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Frida Fest is taking place at the Farmhouse Paint and Sip until 9 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 1.
The event aims to celebrate the work of Frida Kahlo, who is considered one of Mexico's greatest artists.
Organizers say this event is great for local artists inspired by Kahlo.
"We're not only learning about her and her work, but we're also trying to promote other artists to present their work. So it means a lot to us," Thaime Nanez said.
The event also includes local food vendors,. live music, and painting classes.
