Frost Advisory issued for all of southeast Wisconsin tonight

After a day of severe weather, we're transitioning right back to cooler weather. With at least partial clearing and a lighter wind overnight, temperatures are expected to drop into the lower 30s. Inland spots may even dip into the upper 20s depending on how much clearing we end up seeing overnight.

With temps that chilly, a Frost Advisory has been issued for all of southeastern Wisconsin tonight beginning at 1am and ending at 8am. Cover any plants you still have going that you want to survive!

Tonight won't be only night we'll have frost concerns. Additional frost and freeze chances are possible over the next 5 nights away from the lake in particular. Lakeside areas may even slip below freezing at night by early next week.

For many of us, this killing frost is coming right on schedule. On average, lakeshore areas have about another week before the killing frost occurs.

It'll remain cool during the day as well with highs only topping out in the low to mid 50s at best. Some spots may not even get out of the 40s on Saturday. Additional spotty showers will be around on Friday, but a good portion of the weekend looks dry. A few more isolated showers are possible later in the day Sunday.
