Hometown author shares inspiration for ’The Sins We Inherit’
MANITOWOC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Family, friends, and the Two Rivers community have searched tirelessly for Elijah Vue since he went missing on Feb. 20.
To keep those searches going, organizers held a magic show fundraiser in Manitowoc on Saturday, April 20, as a way to give residents something to enjoy while also contributing to the cause.
The $5 donations collected will be used in a variety of ways. That includes supplies, food, gas, flashlights, and more for volunteers helping with the search for Elijah.
"Everybody wants to do anything they can to help because the resources that the community, the police, the FBI, it's so costly. We just want to find him. We just want to know what's going on," said Becky Ernst.
As for official law enforcement activity, that has continued as well.
Recently, that's included kayak and sonar searches in water, aerial searches with drones and farmland searches.
