Giannis and Jrue Holiday earn 2021-22 KIA NBA All-Defensive Team Honors

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Despite an unfortunate end to their season, Giannis Antetokounmpo was selected to First Team NBA All-Defensive team for the fourth consecutive year while Jrue Holiday earned his fourth Second Team All-Defense in the past five seasons.

Taking home multiple awards isn't anything new with Giannis and his career with the Bucks. This is his fifth NBA All-Defensive Team selection, while also earning Second Team All-Defense after the 2016-17 season. Giannis finished this season with 91 blocks, averaging 1.36 per game.

As for Holiday, this will be his fourth All-Defensive award in the last nine seasons. This season, Holiday averaged a team-high 1.6 steals per game, which ranked 9th in the league.

This will be the second consecutive year that both players have won All-Defensive awards together and the fourth with multiple Bucks players in general winning.
