Giannis Antetokounmpo enters NBA's health and safety protocols, out for Wednesday game
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is listed as out for Wednesday night’s game against the Indiana Pacers on Dec. 15.
Antetokounmpo is in the league’s health and safety protocols.
The NBA and other major sports leagues have been dealing with a recent increase in cases. Two Chicago Bulls games scheduled for this week have been postponed after 10 team members entered COVID protocols.
The NHL placed 23 players in health and safety protocols in a 36-hour stretch, and the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams have closed their practice facility after entering the league’s intensive protocols.
DeMarcus Cousins and Wes Matthews are also listed as out for the Bucks-Pacers game Wednesday.
Khris Middleton (knee injury) is listed as questionable.
Donte DiVincenzo was also entered into the league's health and safety protocols late Tuesday night and will be out for Wednesday's game.
