February goes into the records warm and dry
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The first Tuesday in December is called "Giving Tuesday," and this year, we saw one prominent example at the United Way volunteer center in Milwaukee.
BMO Bank workers were packing winter care kits with hats, gloves, scarves, and hand warmers that will be passed out to families dealing with homelessness and food insecurity.
"I think it's all about connection. It's about really seeing the work that United Way does, seeing the dollars invested into the community through our kit packs. This is a really great full circle moment -- especially during the holiday season," said Claire Smart, senior account manager at United Way of Greater Milwaukee.
