Glendale Police Department participates in National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

GLENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Glendale Police Department participated in the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day Saturday, Oct. 24.
Residents were welcomed to bring their unused medications and drop them off at drug drop boxes at the department.
Officials say this provides a safe and responsible means of disposal.
It also educates the community about potential abuse and consequences of improper disposal of these medications.
The boxes are open for people to use year-round at the department.
The department is located 5909 N Milwaukee River Pkwy in Glendale.
