MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Effective Jan. 1, 2025, Goodwill ended several of its promotional sales effective at stores in Milwaukee and Chicago. 

A flyer shared on the doors of the Goodwill on Miller Park Way in Milwaukee, says stores have discontinued the following sales: 

• Tag sales
• Senior discounts
• Military discounts
• Customer appreciation days 

The tag sales offered discounted pricing on items with a certain tag color, and promotions for seniors and military members offered discounts from 20-30% off. 

Goodwill is encouraging shoppers to become a "Perks Plus" loyalty member. By signing up, Goodwill says you will receive discounts redeeming points, and a 15% discount during your birthday month on one transaction.
