Gov. Evers bets Spotted Cow beer in Rose Bowl wager with Oregon governor

MADISON, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Before the Wisconsin Badgers take on the Oregon Ducks in the Rose Bowl on Wednesday, Jan. 1, Governor Tony Evers placed his bet.

In a Facebook post, Evers challenged Oregon Governor Kate Brown to a friendly wager.

"I'm wagering a 6-pack of Wisconsin's one-and-only Spotted Cow that the Badgers will take down the Ducks at the game on Wednesday," Evers wrote.

Gov. Brown accepted the challenge and wagered back a bottle of Oregon wine.

Kickoff for the Rose Bowl is set for 4 p.m.
