MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Governor Tony Evers and Senator Tammy Baldwin visited Milwaukee Area Technical College Monday in celebration of Wisconsin being named a US regional tech hub earlier this month.
This designation allows for $49 million to help grow the medicine and biohealth sector and increase jobs across the region.
It is projected that this designation will create more than $9 billion in economic development over the next decade just in the state of Wisconsin alone.
