Greek Fest to be held June 21-23 at State Fair Park

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church will hold its annual Greek Fest on June 21, 22, and 23 at State Fair Park.

The event will run from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.

Greek Fest is the largest fundraiser for Annunciation and assists in funding its ministries, youth programming and community outreach. It also supports general operations and maintenance of the famous Frank Lloyd Wright-designed church.

“Greek Fest is a beloved annual summer tradition in Milwaukee,” said Greg Papachristou, one of the festival’s organizers. “It provides fun and entertainment for thousands of families by offering authentic Greek food such as saganaki (flaming cheese), special drinks such as ouzo lemonade, Greek dancing and performances by local bands. Of course, there is also our famous spit roasted chicken, not to mention delicious lamb and the best gyros in town.

There is no admission for GreekFest. Parking is $5.
