Green Bay Packers cut roster down to 53 players -- here's a breakdown
GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Across the league Tuesday, Aug. 31, NFL teams are putting the puzzle pieces together for their opening day roster.
Practice squad players can officially be signed after clearing waivers. NFL teams are allowed to sign up to 16 players to the practice squad.
