Greenfield man fatally stabbed, 29-year-old woman arrested

GREENFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A homicide investigation is underway in Greenfield, after police say a 32-year-old man was fatally stabbed early Wednesday morning, Jan. 28.

Officers arrived at the scene near 43rd and Carpenter Avenue just after 3 a.m. in response to a domestic disturbance call and found the victim lying on the floor with stab wounds, unresponsive. He was taken to an area hospital and pronounced dead. 

Police say the man was living with a 29-year-old woman who was taken into custody at the apartment. 

The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office will be reviewing the case.
