BAY VIEW, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Halloween Grinch or two has been putting a damper on the festive season.
A popular Halloween display in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood may be taken down because thieves stole some of the items.
The display near Logan and Russell has decorations from the movie "A Nightmare Before Christmas."
The man who runs the display uses it to raise money for charity and neighbors say it's a big hit in the community.
"Just to see something like this vandalized is heartbreaking on so many levels. Again, he puts a lot of time and work and it's just a shame," said neighbor Stefan Dostanic.
Neighbors hope that whoever stole the items will bring them back.
