GREENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Happy Con, a toy and collectibles convention, will run Friday, Dec. 12, through Sunday, Dec. 14 at Southridge Mall in Greendale.

The event, presented by Happy 8 Collectibles, will feature celebrity guests including Stephen Costantino from Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, Emmy Award-winning illustrator Tom Cook, Susanna Malak from The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett, and illustrator Philo Barnhart, who worked on The Little Mermaid and Dragon's Lair.

Local artist Leia Elaine will offer free drawing lessons for kids.

The convention will include vendors selling vintage and modern toys, cards and collectibles. Juan Sanchez, director of Happy Con and managing director of Happy 8 Collectibles, said the event allows fans to recapture their childhood through collecting.

Admission is $2 and free for children under 12. Hours are Friday, 4 to 8 p.m., Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
