MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Harley-Davidson unveiled a new electric bike on Tuesday.
Demos of the LiveWire electric bike are going on for two days at the Harley-Davidson Museum in Milwaukee. It's Harley's first all-electric bike.
LiveWire is mostly silent and has no clutch or shifting. A company spokesman thinks that'll make it more appealing to new riders.
"The biggest term we're hearing is game-changer," Glen Koval of Harley-Davidson said. "This is really changing people's mind about the sport of motorcycling and how accessible it is, and getting people on the bikes that maybe have an obstacle about shifting and clutching vehicles."
An all-new 2020 model starts at just under $30,000.
