Waukesha County Sheriff\'s Department

HARTLAND, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The bus driver charged in an alleged drunk driving case in Hartland is expected to take a plea deal.

Seventy-two-year-old Walter Cunningham was accused of driving under the influence while on his after-school route last January.

He was charged with OWI, and 28 felony counts of recklessly endangering safety.

Those 28 counts will be dropped after a pharmacology report found no evidence of alcohol or drug impairment.

His attorney says Cunningham will still be expected to plead no contest to a misdemeanor OWI as part of the plea deal.

A court date has not yet been set.
