The big rain from the end of last week is now over! Wind gusts during the storm system peaked in the upper 30s to around 40 mph Friday evening into Saturday morning. All of southeast Wisconsin got at least 1.50" of rain with most seeing between 2-3.50". A few isolated areas even got over 4" of rain.
With the big rain over the weekend, Milwaukee is now above-average on rainfall for the month of October with 1.94" of total rain.
We will dry out Monday and Tuesday with some sunshine returning. Wednesday will bring in the next chance for rain with some light showers possible in the afternoon and evening. That rain chance will last through Thursday with another wave possible Saturday.
In addition to the rain ending, the wind will also die down. A relatively light wind is expected Monday and Tuesday between 5-15 mph but it shifts from the north Monday to west Tuesday. A bit of a breeze returns Wednesday out of the south from 10-20 mph.
