Brad Ferguson/iStock KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A state highway in Kenosha County is now closed after the severe storm Thursday afternoon took down power lines in the area.
State Highway 142 is closed between 152nd Ave. and 136th Ave along with US 45 northbound at 9th due to the downed power lines.
The roadway is to remain closed until further notice. The Kenosha County Sheriff's Office is asking to public to avoid the area and use alternative routes.
