MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Authorities have filed homicide charges after a pregnant woman was found dead after a house fire on Milwaukee's north side.

Cameron Washington, 21, was scheduled for a hearing on Tuesday, Feb. 3, but he did not appear.

Instead, prosecutors filed an amended complaint that includes homicide charges against Washington -- in addition to the arson and reckless endangerment charges he faces.

Police say the victim, Gladys Johnson-Ball, was the mother of the suspect's 3-year-old daughter and was pregnant at the time of her death.

Washington reportedly lived with the victim at a home near 26th and Hadley.

Washington is due back in court next month.
