MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Steny's in Walker's Point was packed with the Admirals faithful Wednesday as the bar broadcasted Game 3 of the American Hockey League's Central Division Finals between Milwaukee and the Texas Stars.

"The team everybody was rooting for that played basketball didn't get very far," joked Admirals fan Bob Hochstaetter. "Now, we have something that's actually a Milwaukee team doing pretty well."

The last time the Admirals brought the Calder Cup to Milwaukee was the 2003/2004 season. Longtime fan Andy Blutstein is hopeful this year will be different.

"I'm just hoping for a win," Blutstein said. "Just hoping to get that trophy."

The Admirals' playoff run isn't the only hockey talk taking place that involves Milwaukee.

The future of the National Hockey League's Arizona Coyotes is in question after voters in Tempe, Arizona, rejected a new arena deal. Several publications have listed cities including Houston, Salt Lake City, Atlanta, Quebec City and, you guessed it, Milwaukee, as potential relocation spots.

Could the Cream City support an NHL team?

"That's certainly been a question that's been asked here for many, many years," said Jon Greenberg, president of the Admirals.

Greenberg says if an NHL team were to one day make its way to Fiserv Forum, it would most likely mean the Admirals would have to find a new home. However, he doesn't think they'll have to worry about that anytime soon.

"I think it would be very challenging for this community to support both the NBA and the NHL and the MLB all at the same time," Greenberg said, adding his team is happy with the support they've received and hope it will continue. "We're grateful for all the support that we've had here for over 50 years. We hope that'll continue for another 50."

Game 4 of the playoff series between the Admirals and the Stars is Friday night in Texas.
