The annual Indian Summer Festival is back for a 30th year. This is the last ethnic event at the Summerfest grounds to wrap up the summer season. There's plenty of food, music, storytelling, and dancing to enjoy. I got to take part in some of the fun during the Friday morning show on CBS58. One big draw is the sport of Lacrosse. It has Native American origins from 500 years ago.
Today is Education Day involving five thousand students learning about Native American culture. And between 4 and 6, you can enter free with a donation of school supplies. You can find out about all the activities happening this weekend, including powwow competitions and Saturday night fireworks, by clicking on the attached link.
