MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Five hundred local families in need will have a guaranteed Thanksgiving meal on their table thanks to the efforts of Hunger Task Force and 100 volunteers.
Friday morning, Nov. 22, was spent filling holiday bins with turkeys and all the fixings at the non-profit’s distribution center in Milwaukee.
Like years past, the first 100 people to donate three frozen turkeys will get a Brewers Bobblehead. This time it’s player Josh Hader.
The Hunger Task Force food drive takes place Wednesday, Nov. 27 from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m. near Helfaer Field at Miller Park. CBS 58 will be out there collecting whatever you can donate -- and we appreciate every single item.
