SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The family members of a man shot by police on Sunday are making calls for transparency.
Police say 23-year-old Tommie Dixon lunged at an officer and took their gun, and a second officer shot him.
His family wants to see the body camera footage.
"Today, I'm asking today, for the footage. I need to see everything happen from the time they got out they car to the time my son is laying on the ground and I'm recording him."
Dixon's family says he was shot eight times, just a few houses away from his home.
They say he's in the ICU but is awake and talking.
Police tell us they were responding to a call about a man waving a gun around.
Both officers involved are on administrative leave.
West Bend's police department is investigating the shooting.
