MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Thanks to Lara Holman, the sidewalks of Bay View have become an artistic expression of admiration. Holman is the artist behind dozens of chalk portraits depicting famous Milwaukeeans and people of color that have appeared over the past year. In total, more than 80 portraits have been spotted in the neighborhood.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Winnie Dortch caught up with Holman to learn the motivation behind her prolific work.
