MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Local photographer Rich Zimmermann has spent decades capturing some of Summerfest's most iconic moments.
Music and moments first came into focus for him when he was a teen working for the Bugle American as a music photographer.
His first shot at Summerfest was taken in 1971. The following year he became one of several house photographers.
He photographed his first major rock band at the Big Gig 50 years ago - Mountain.
Many of his images are published and seen around the world.
He sat down with CBS 58's Pauleen Le to share more about how photography has changed over the years and shared some of his iconic images from Summerfest 2021.
