Imagine Dragons announced as headliner during next year's Summerfest

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The 55th anniversary of Summerfest is continuing to take shape, with the announcement of a major Grammy-award-winning headliner.

The "Radioactive" and "Believer" hitmaking Las Vegas quartet Imagine Dragons will headline the American Family Insurance Amphitheater during the festival on Saturday, July 8, 2023. That is the last day of the festival.

While the temperatures in Milwaukee do not evoke feelings of Summerfest, the event is especially relevant this week because tickets go on sale to the public on Friday, Nov. 18 at 10:00 a.m. Insider presale tickets go on sale Thursday, Nov. 17.

Imagine Dragons will be joined by special guest AJR, a band that has performed on Today, The Ellen DeGeneres Show and the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
