Mild and windy most of this week with another big storm system
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- We got an inside look at Fiserv Forum Tuesday, where much of the setup is coming together for the Republican National Convention.
We toured inside the arena, where the stage and background displays are mostly built.
Work is still happening on the floor, which will host seating for the 2,600 GOP delegates attending the convention and officially nominating Donald Trump as the party's presidential nominee.
We asked about business leaders being disappointed there have not been more reservations related to the convention.
RNC officials say many of the benefits for Milwaukee will appear months and years down the road.
"What we want is when those 50,000 guests go home, we want them to tell their community members, their friends, their coworkers, how great of a time they had in Milwaukee - all the great food they had here and the people they met, the entertainment they saw, and we hope that will be long-term," said Kush Desai, RNC deputy communications director.
Aside from the delegates, the seating inside Fiserv Forum is reserved for alternate delegates and other guests.
There will not be tickets or passes available to the general public.
The convention kicks off in 13 days.
