Pets, treats, adoption all are a part of World Dog Day at Brookfield's Scratch Ice Cream

BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- It's the perfect way to spend World Dog Day. Enjoy some ice cream, even for your pet and see some furry friends looking for a forever home thanks to Lucky Mutts Rescue. This non-profit specializes in fostering.

The event will be at Scratch Ice Cream in Brookfield from noon until 9 PM today. The location is 2205 N. Calhoun Road Ste. 6.  Keep in mind, there's a process with adoptions. You won't be able to take home a pet immediately.
