MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The sheriff's office says a suspect was arrested in Milwaukee's Veterans Park Monday night, May 18, after reports of an armed man driving through the park.

The sheriff's office tells us the suspect was ultimately taken into custody by Milwaukee police.

Sheriff's officials say it's believed officers began following the vehicle after observing the suspect driving recklessly on Lincoln Memorial Drive and into the park. 

The suspect vehicle has been towed.
